Selenium is an automated software test framework that is only used in web applications to test its functionality and regression. Note that it does not support desktop applications and, therefore, is different from the UTF tool.

It is a simple tool in the selenium package because it is easy to install and use. The only disadvantage is that it is only intended to be used in the Firefox browser. However, simplicity means that most engineers use prototyping as a global solution for the development and management of complex test sets.
To use the Selenium IDE tool, you need to know HTML, Javascript and the Document Object Model. Selenium IDE can help you achieve only two goals, namely the ability to register orders faster and, secondly, prevent incorrect / invalid orders from being entered.
Selenium RC server
This tool extends the capabilities of the Selenium Pack because it opens in different browsers and supports different operating systems. It contains the java file and does not require special installation after downloading. The tool automatically groups the selenium core and passes it to the browser.
However, you must correctly install the Java environment and the execution path to run the console sequentially. It is recommended to ensure that Java is installed correctly by running the Java-version command on your console. After implementing version control, the response must be 1.5 or higher, which means you can start with the tester.

Two functions are common in webdriver and selenium RC. Both allow the use of programming language in the creation of test scripts. And second, they allow the user to run tests in different web browsers. The difference between RC and WD is in architecture and speed. For architecture, WD construction is relatively easy compared to Selenium RC architecture. And at speeds, the WD is faster than the Selenium RC because it has the ability to directly control the navigation engine, while the Selenium RC uses JavaScript to control the browser.
